Traveling Vest Virginia
Coal River Kayak And Canoe
Get Your Paddle On The Coal River

EYEWITNESS ONLINE WEBCAST VIDEO

What started as a passion for fishing and paddling has turned into West Virginia's first water trail and a local business for you to enjoy. Coal River Kayak owner Bill Currey and his fishing buddy Bill Queen had a dream 10 years ago to clean up the Coal River and create a water trail and thriving fishery..that dream is now a living breathing reality. Paddlers, fishermen, or sightseers can put in at 17 different spots and choose from eleven trips along the 88 miles of river. Several of the trips are isolated with next to no houses or structures visible from the river. The best part is it's close to the Charleston/Huntington area with a base of operations located in St. Albans. So grab some friends and hit the river!
