![]() Edray Fish Hatchery Visit West Virginia's Oldest Fish Hatchery
Constructed in 1932 by the Civilian Conservation Corp, the Edray Fish Hatchery has stood the test of time. The original building and raceways are still in use while the hatchery and its workers provide 140,000 pounds of trout annually to 40 different streams and lakes around the West Virginia. For 78 years, the Edray Fish Hatchery has provided trout fisherman with plenty of opportunities to wet a line in the mountain state, and visitors are always welcome to tour this historic Pocahontas County landmark.
