 Lambert's Winery Vintage Wines And Vineyard Weddings
In 1992, Jim and Debbie Lambert decided to try their hand at wine making, the first batch?...35 gallons of blackberry wine made on a stove top. Needless to say, the Lamberts have come a long way from those meager beginnings. The family now produces over 30 varieties of Red, White, Blush and Dessert wines that are available in 350 outlets across West Virginia. The buildings of the winery are made from large hand cut stone, and the grounds take on an old world look and feel. Wine tastings and tours are a big part of Lambert's Winery, as they are eager to share their story, and explain how wine is made.
The Lamberts also offer vineyard event catering for wedding receptions, banquets, class reunions, birthdays, and retirement parties, all housed inside the recently built banquet facility, The Vintage Room. The building itself is constructed similar to the other winery buildings with hand-cut stone and wood. It offers inside seating of 100 on handcrafted oak tables and chairs with a state of the art commercial kitchen. A large wrap-around wooden deck overlooking the vineyards has outside seating for 40, with a large grass area suitable for tents and tables for larger events.
