Twisted Gun Golf Club opened in the fall of 2002 with rave reviews. This links style course is placed on a former mine site in southern Mingo county near the town of Gilbert. It has four sets of tees and will challenge anyone from the novice to the seasoned professional. Twisted Gun plays 7,015 yards from the professional tees, and only 5,155 yards from the forward tees.

The Golf Club was recognized in 2007 by GolfOnline.com as one of the "Top Fifty under Fifty" ranking 17th out of 50 that the public can play for under fifty dollars.
