![]() Blind Potter A Talented Potter, With An Inspiring Story
Marcia Springston has been creating hand thrown stoneware pottery since 1975. Each piece is unique and pleasing to the hand as well as the eye. Totally blind since birth, Marcia approached her art form with this philosophy: "My hands remember how the pots grew, and my heart is gratified." Her fine functional pottery, as well as her sculpture, has been exhibited throughout the United States and Canada. Her gallery, known as Wakerobin, is located in Summers County on Rt. 12 & Seminole Road between Hinton and Peterstown.
