Built in 1900, the historic Balli Sisters Farm is now available familys or groups. Known locally as the Balli girls home, the remote Webster County farm was built by the sisters father, John Balli. John's wife Hulda gave birth to eight children, seven girls and one boy. Three of the sisters, Anna, Gertrude, and Freda never left their childhood home, preferring to stay with what they knew best...farming and living independently. The Balli sisters sold eggs, made quilts, but most importantly, produced delicious home made Swiss cheese. Milking twenty one gallons of milk a day to produce one five pound block, the sisters cheese became well known and much sought after.
The famous Balli sisters have passed away, but the family has maintained their farm and have made it available for rent on a weekly basis. If you and your family truly want to get away from it all, this is your perfect getaway. FOR MORE INFORMATION
