![]() Bird Woodcarver Taking carving to another level.
Paul Adkins became interested in bird carving about thirty years ago. He is self taught, having carved birds for about ten years before seeing a carving book. After he ordered some books by carvers like Ernest Muehlmatt, Floyd Scholz and Rosalyn Daisey Paul he was hooked. This is a hobby that has turned into a passion, or a hobby that's gotten out of control.
Having been born and raised in W.Va. Paul has a natural love of the outdoors and all of God's creations. Each carving is carved from Linden wood or "Basswood" and Tupelo wood and painted with acrylic paints. FOR MORE INFORMATION
