Opened in 1995, the Pete Dye Golf Club has been consistantly ranked amont the four "Greatest Golf Courses in the Modern Era." The course features remnants of coal mining activity, including exposed, strip-mined high walls, a rotary car tipple, coal-laden mine cars, a cart path through a once-deep mine and waterfalls that originate from deep mining activities of days past.

The Nationwide Tour Players Cup, which will be held July 7-13 at the Pete Dye Golf Club in Bridgeport, W.Va., will be the Tour's premier, in-season event. It will feature a unique 144-player field based on the Nationwide Tour's money list and a Tour-record $1 million purse.
