![]() Micro Theater Head underground to the only micro-theater in West Virginia
Bryson Van Nostrand studied architecture in college and its relation to film. Once his studies were over, and his architectural firm established, he missed seeing the independent films and documentaries of his college days. Now located in his firms basement is Lascaux Micro Theater, named after a French cave discovered in the 1940's that held the earliest known art of mankind.
Open every Friday evening since 2000, Bryson shows foreign films, documentaries, and independent films you won't see at mainstream cinemas. The only micro theater in West Virginia, Lascaux offers patrons something different while exposing them to different cultures, beliefs, and ways of life. Van Nostrands mission is to expose as many people as possible to these films, in an effort to nurture more tolerance in the world, and the small Upsher County town of Buckhannon. FOR MORE INFORMATION
