![]() Holly River Award An award winning trail provides access to a scenic area at Holly River State Park.
The Potato Knob Trail project at Holly River State Park, in Hacker Valley, W.Va., has been named a winner of the Recreational Trails Program ( RTP) Achievement Award in the Construction and Design category. Given by the Coalition for Recreational Trails, the RTP Achievement Awards recognize outstanding trail projects funded by the national RTP. The project at the Potato Knob Trail in Holly River State Park includes a 120-foot long boardwalk to an overlook that allows seniors and people with disabilities to view the Upper Falls.
