![]() THE OLD WHITE A landmark West Virginia golf course gets a makeover to an old look.
Originally opened in 1914, The Old White golf course at The Greenbrier Resort was the premiere golf destination in the U.S. Over time, the corse changed, aged and was altered to where it was far from Charles Blair Macdonald's original design. In 2002 officials at the resort began a 4 year restoration of the famed course and in May of this year officially re-opened the course for play. Architect Lestor George used old aerial photographs to restore The Old White to its original design. Go to Greenbrier county and play The Old White with a new look!
