![]() KNIFE MAKER Frustration leads a Kanawha county man to craft some of the most sought after knives in the country.
In 1978, Jerry Elliott was planning an Alaskan hunting trip. Before he left, he wanted to find the perfect knife. After a futile search he decided to have one made. After approaching several knife makers, one in Huntington allowed Jerry to make his own. 28 years later, Jerry makes some of the most sought after knifes in the country, all from his small workshop in Kanawha City. Handcrafted, beautiful and functional, Elliott knives are made from the best steel and handle material from around the world.
