He was able to sell some small carvings, but it wasn't enough to support he hand his family. That's when David decide to go big...Really big. He put down his pocket knife and picked up his chainsaw. D-Whittlings was created and David began making life size wood sculptures available in all sizes. He creates bears, totems, Indians or anything else he can imagine. The attention to detail is amazing and all pieces are cut from one solid piece of wood. If you're headed to Wood county, a stop at D-Whittlings would be worth it!
