A custom woodworker, Michael Rhonehouse's forté is the finish. "I'm always sanding, smoothing and detailing the wood," he says of his custom birdhouses. It was his love of wood that profelled him to make a few birdhouses after he took an early retirement. Right from the start, Michael found his niche in the birdhouse business, selling and exhibiting his houses throughout North America and Europe.
