 Canaan Valley Resort Tucked away in the hills of scenic Tucker county is a resort famous for its variety of activities for vacationers young and old. Photojournalist Brad Rice takes us to Canaan Valley Resort.
Cannan Valley Resort is a true 4 season resort, but in winter, skiing reigns supreme. With 37 slopes, 3 lifts and a vertical drop of 850 ft. Canaan can be as challenging as guests want it to be. For the less adventurous, there is cross country skiing, snow tubing and snow shoeing available. The main lodge has 250 rooms, there are 23 private cabins and a camp ground available. The resort is situated in the beautiful mountains of Tucker county and offers guests several packages year-round.
