Family Feud Weeknights at 7:00 pm on WCHS-TV8
The popular game show "Family Feud," debuted on September 16, 2002 with a new host, actor Richard Karn. Karn is best known for his role as "Al Borland" on ABC's top-rated comedy "Home Improvement."Karn commented "I grew up watching "Family Feud" and I am delighted to now be part of the show. My goal is to continue to keep fans of 'Family Feud' entertained and excited about the show, as they have been for decades." The classic game show "Family Feud" features two families competing to match responses made by 100 people in specially commissioned surveys. The series originally debuted on ABC in 1976 with host Richard Dawson. Simultaneously, the program was syndicated between 1977 and 1985. "Family Feud" was again picked up in 1988 featuring Ray Combs as host and aired through 1995. The most recent version of the program debuted in 1999 and featured comedian Louie Anderson as host.
