Paula Abdul Paula Abdul joined Entertainment Tonight as a correspondent in the 2002-03 season.

The multi-talented dancer, choreographer, singer and "American Idol" judge has had an extraordinarily prolific entertainment career. As a singer, Abdul has enjoyed worldwide album sales in excess of 40 million records, two #1 albums, six #1 singles, a Grammy Award, seven MTV Video Music Awards, two Emmy Awards, two People's Choice Awards and two Kid's Choice Awards. She has also been honored with her own Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and has been inducted into Nickelodeon's Kid's Choice Hall of Fame.

In addition to her reporting role on ET, Abdul is also the heart and soul of FOX's recordbreaking series "American Idol," earning high praise from contestants and viewers alike for her positive feedback and nurturing of the hopeful young singers.

Behind the camera, Abdul is one of most gifted and creative choreographers in the worlds of film, television, video, stage and live tours. Her celebrated works in choreography include Emmy-winning contributions to "The Tracey Ullman Show," her own performance as an artist on "The American Music Awards," and her choreography for the Academy Awards, for which she received an Emmy nomination. Other career triumphs include her award-winning work with mega pop star Janet Jackson, which garnered two MTV Video Music Awards, and her work with such music legends as Aretha Franklin, George Michael, Luther Vandross, INXS, Heart and Prince.

As a choreographer, Abdul has coached some of the biggest names in film. She worked with Tom Hanks in the memorable scene from "Big" where he dances on a giant keyboard at FAO Schwartz; with Mena Suvari and Kevin Spacey in "American Beauty;" with Cuba Gooding, Jr. on his Academy Award-winning performance in "Jerry Maguire;" and with Val Kilmer, transforming him into Jim Morrison for Oliver Stone's "The Doors." She also worked with Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall in the show-stopping African wedding dance scene in "Coming to America."

Other notable actors, directors and producers with whom Abdul has worked include Billy Crystal, Dan Aykroyd, Sally Field, Minnie Driver, Tim Robbins, Susan Sarandon, Martin Lawrence, James L. Brooks, Sam Mendes, David Fincher, Joel Silver and John Landis.

When not singing, dancing, choreographing, reporting or judging talent, Abdul honors her roots by running dance and cheerleading camps, competitions and scholarship programs throughout the country. She has never forgotten her first break as a Los Angeles Laker Girl.

Paula Abdul resides in Los Angeles with her miniature Chihuahua, Thumbelina.
