The Produce Corner Recipes
Cherimoya-Lime Sorbet

Ingredients
  • 1 1/4 cup pureed cherimoya
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp. honey


Directions

Puree all ingredients in a blender, pour into a bowl and freeze till solid (2-3 hours).

Remove from the freezer and with a fork, break up the sorbet into large chunks. Transfer the chunks to a food processor or blender and process till smooth and creamy. Return to the bowl and freeze for 30 more minutes.

To serve, place a scoop into a sorbet glass or onto a dessert dish and enjoy.

This recipe can be used as an intermezzo or as a dessert.

Serves 4-6.
