Baked Fennel Parmesan

Ingredients
  • 2 fennel bulbs
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbs. olive oil
  • 2 Tbs. margarine
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Parmesan cheese


Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Grease glass baking pan (9x9) with olive oil.

Cut fennel bulbs vertically into 1/4" thick slices. Lay flat in the baking pan. Sprinkle minced garlic evenly over fennel. Salt and pepper to taste. Drizzle margarine over fennel. Top with heavy sprinkling of grated Parmesan cheese.

Cover with aluminum foil and bank at 325 degrees for 1 hour, 15 minutes.

Serve as a side dish. Delicious unique flavor.

Serves 4 to 6.
