Forecaster's around the country use several different scales and conversions in their day to day forecasting shifts. This is one that may come in handy for you at home. Temperature is measured in degrees Celsius and in degrees Fahrenheit. Celsius is part of the metric system used world wide. The United States is the only country that uses the Fahrenheit scale. One degree Celsius is equal to 1.8 degrees Fahrenheit. 0° Celsius = 32° Fahrenheit. 5°C =41°F and so on. Below is a conversion program for Celsius to Fahrenheit and vice versa.
