Many of us love to hunt, and for most, the enjoyment of getting out in the woods with our sons, daughters, husbands and wives makes it all the better. Meet the Sette's...Sean got the hunting bug firmly implanted.

"I've always been interested, I'm a vet, so I always had a passion for animals and the outdoors. When I met my wife, she was interested in it, too, and I think that was the key. She got me in my first big game hunt and after that we had some children and realized we needed to get them out on a hunt also." says Sette.

That realization turned into a family passion for hunting. That worked out perfectly for Sean who hated to leave his family behind when he went on some nice hunts.

"She bought them all bows and started practicing and they've been on squirrel hunts, gator hunts. One of the concerns for me is on my big game hunts I'd be away from my family for a significant amount of time. Part of this is taking the family with me, I don't get homesick, they're right there with me and it doesn't matter where we are on the globe, I keep an eye on them, I don't have to worry where they are when I'm away." says Sette.

For that to work, you have to have a family which enjoys taking the time and making the commitment to go on hunts like that. The Sette's are that family, even Katelyn, a teenage girl you might not expect to enjoy getting her hands dirty. "I like it because I get to be with my family and I like to get away from all the people and just spend time outdoors and get a breath of fresh air." says Sette.

When you hunt, there's plenty of that...fresh air. If you want to get your kids into hunting, you're first chance is the 7th when squirrel season opens.
