Looking for a christmas gift that will keep folks thinking about all things beautiful about our state? The dnr has the answer.

JIM FREGONARA WV DNR SAYS:
"This is our 2008 calendar. It is full of award winning artist's selections. This year, we had a hard time choosing all of our art. We had over 200 pictures that came into our office that we have to choose from."

This year a black bear is on the cover, but it's inside where you'll find all kinds of good info. Kind of news you can use in the woods or in your yard.

JIM FREGONARA WV DNR SAYS:
"It's full of all kinds of information for hunters and anglers. It has articles on shooting ranges all over the state, articles on some of our fish research that we're doing all over the state. We have daily tidbits and facts, when to put up hummingbird feeders."

The 2008 wildlife calendar will also look beautiful hanging on your wall. It's also a great gift for loved ones who left the state, but never forgot it.

JIM FREGONARA WV DNR SAYS:
"They're very popular, they're sent all over the country, to every state in the union and they're also sent overseas. A lot of people buy them for their children that are no longer living in West Virginia and year after year, their popularity is increasing."
