Seth Payne/Archer says:
"We like to go when ever we can and in the winter, we like to come here, inside."

When it's cold like this, it's a little tougher to do the things you love to do when the weather is a little warmer. Seth and his brother Jared just love to shoot their bows.

Jared Payne/Archer says:
"I could do better, I haven't shot in a while, we just come when we can. I haven't practiced in a while.

"We usually go out side and shoot with our little block, but it gets real cold and it's not real fu to shoot outside when it's real cold. It's a lot easier to come here."

Jared and Seth piled in the car with their dad and came to the indoor range at Addington's. It's a home away from home for bow hunters, and this time of year, it's a refuge from the cold-a place Seth picks up little tips from the experts.

Seth Payne/Arhcer says:
"Whenever you pull the trigger, you need to do that instead of doing that."

Good advice...lets see if it works.

They call this a Robin Hood, and I didn't do this remarkable piece of shooting-Jim Booth did.

What's his secret?

Jim Booth/Arhcer says:
"Practice. I never give up shooting and I just keep getting better and better. When everyone else quits, I just pick it up again."

Jim shoots about 500 arrows a day, all of them here.

Jim Booth/Arhcer says:
"This is really the only place we have to shoot right now, it's really to cold to shoot outside, so we just practice indoors."

There are several other places, just like Addington's, where you can find a warm place to shoot-you - and many of them are closer to your home than you think.. Have fun!
