CHARLESTON, W.Va.
The College Foundation of West Virginia has launched an interactive Web portal intended to assist students in their search for a college.
The free resource provides information on college and financial aid applications, as well as tools to help high school students identify careers and programs of study. The Web site also includes tools to help students prepare for testing such as SATs.
First lady Gayle Manchin and the state's higher education chancellor, Brian Noland, helped launch the program at Charleston's Capital High School.
