Texas... at least thirty people are now in the hospital after the floor of a garage gave way. More than a hundred people may have been at the home for some type of celebration. They reportedly gathered inside the room of the second story of the garage. Authorities say they were able to quickly handle all the injuries. The floor may not have been able to hold all the people, but the cause is under investigation...

Washington... a bus ride almost turns into a hair raising experience for one woman. A former friend sat behind her on the community transit bus in Marysville. Surveillance video appears to show the woman lighting the other woman's hair on fire using a canister of hairspray and a lighter. A man sitting next to the victim saw what was happening and used his hand to put out the fire. The woman was charged with assault, and banned from riding the city buses...

New York... busy Midtown investors can now pick up gold on the go. A coin dealer on 57th street has an ATM outside the store that sells gold and silver coins and bars for cash. The cost ranges from about $30 up to $1400, with prices linked to market rates and updated every minute. The owners say the machine is used about three times a day. And that's been a valuable USA Update.
