Alabama... two children were rescued from a car stuck in flood waters in Birmingham. Rescue crews pulled the children and one adult from the stranded car trapped by the rising waters this morning. At least four inches of rain fell over the weekend, causing flooding and power outages. Many homes throughout the region had to be evacuated due to the dangerous conditions...

Colorado... a school in Lakewood was evacuated after some students had a skin reaction to a substance on the playground. HazMat workers confirm a toxic substance was detected, but they couldn't determine exactly what it was. 28 students were exposed to the substance, five were taken to the hospital as a precaution. The others were decontaminated at the school...

Pennsylvania... hate playing Tetris on a TV or even a GameBoy? How about playing on the side of a 29-story skyscraper? A big crowd in Philadelphia gathered to play the game on the side of the Cira Centre. The building has hundreds of programmable LED lights embedded in its facade. The event helped kick off Philly Tech Week. And with that, it's game over on this USA Update.
