Rick Lord A sky high rescue in Oklahoma, a salt truck topples in North Carolina, and some puny porkers in Rhode Island on this USA Update

Oklahoma... strong winds trapped a worker high above downtown Tulsa. He was doing late night repairs to a broken window on the 16th floor of an office building when the wind tangled his rope in a light pole. He then called for help and firefighters used a ladder truck to get him down. The worker and firefighters were able to get down safely and then firefighters cut the rope. No one was hurt...

North Carolina... well, they didn't need this much salt. Icy roads in Wake County brought out salt trucks to try to get a hold of the situation, but this one became a part of the problem instead of the solution, flipping on its side after hitting a patch of ice. The salt spilled out onto the street, causing a mess, but not much more than that. The salt was cleared away, and traffic went on as usual...

Rhode Island... the state has issued its first micro-pig license, allowing people to own the tiny swines as pets. The man who was issued the first license is starting a business to breed and sell the little pigs. An adult micro-pig will only grow to weigh between 20-40 pounds, so basically like a medium-sized dog. And with that, we've brought home the bacon on this USA Update.
