North Dakota... at least one train car caught fire after a derailment near Casselton. Emergency crews are on the scene, but no reports yet of any injuries. The 110-car train included possibly five cars filled with crude oil, which is leaking. An alert has been issued to neighbors in town to stay indoors. They are not sure how toxic the smoke is, but it could possibly cause respiratory problems...

New Jersey... two workers had to be rescued after getting stuck on a scaffold at a building in Paramus. They were trapped more than 50-feet in the air, but a rescue crew was able to use a ladder truck to bring the men safely to the ground and no one was hurt. They are still trying to figure out what exactly caused the scaffold to fail this morning...

New York... Spider Man was lending a helping hand as preparations continue for tomorrow big party in Times Square. A confetti test seemed to go well. One ton of confetti will be released by hand from various buildings when the clock strikes midnight tomorrow night. More than a million people are expected to jam into just a few city blocks for the annual festivities, which are broadcast around the world. And with that, the party's over on this USA Update.
