STATESBORO, Ga.
Adrian Mora kicked two field goals and Georgia Southern had two interceptions and recovered a fumble for a 13-6 season-ending victory over The Citadel on Saturday.

Georgia Southern coach Chris Hatcher was fired after the game. He was 18-15 in his three years as head coach.

Mora's field goals of 31 and 25 yards gave the Eagles a 6-0 lead before Tavaris Williams picked off The Citadel's Tommy Edwards at the Bulldogs' 32.

Lee Chapple hit Mitch Williford on a 10-yard touchdown pass for a 13-0 lead with 49 seconds left in the first half.

Andre Roberts caught a 5-yard touchdown pass from Edwards with 1:05 left in the game.

The Citadel outgained the Eagles 359-245 but couldn't overcome the three turnovers.

Chapple was 20-for-32 for 143 yards and led Georgia Southern with 47 yards on the ground.

Edwards, starting for the injured Bart Blanchard, was 23 of 38 for 213 yards.

Roberts finished with five catches for 81 yards.
