Iginla hat trick lifts Flames over Kings 5-2 November 21, 2009 6:57 PM LOS ANGELES Jarome Iginla scored a goal in each period to lead the Calgary Flames to a 5-2 victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday.
The Flames captain scored the Flames' first goal just 13 seconds after the opening faceoff. He tied the game 2-2 during a 5-on-3 power play at 6:51 of the second. Daymond Langkow scored a key short-handed goal for Calgary to break a 2-2 tie early in the third period. David Moss also scored for the Flames and Miikka Kiprusoff made 23 saves. Drew Doughty and Alexander Frolov scored for the Kings. Iginla has 11 goals in his last nine games. |
