Top-ranked Sooners could be well stocked for Longhorns

NORMAN, Okla.
Oklahoma football coach Bob Stoops expects his top-ranked Sooners will be at full strength this Saturday against number-five Texas in the annual Red River Rivalry game.



Stoops says defensive tackle Gerald McCoy and center Jon Cooper could be ready for the Longhorns after suffering minor injuries in last weekend's win against Baylor. The Sooners might even have injured defensive linemen Demarcus Granger and Frank Alexander back, according to the coach.

Stoops says everyone practiced to some degree Monday but adds that third-string tight end Eric Mensik and reserve cornerback Jonathan Nelson will definitely miss the game.
