When you think of football in West Virginia and the name Pennington...Chad Pennington probably comes to mind right away.

But another individual by that name left his mark on the football field.

Instead of throwing passes, John Pennington caught passes. He excelled at George Washington High School and then fulfilled his lifetime dream of becoming a Mountaineer.

The game of football is still very much of part of his day.
