Football Scrapbook: Dana 'Corky' Griffith

He played on the first and only football team at Widen High School in Clay County. He moved to Gassaway and competed for the Elks. Both schools are no longer around.

Then, he moved on to the collegiate level and was part of the program at Salem. He would later coach the Tigers.

Corky Griffith's greatest success in coaching was at old DuPont High School.

Look up the word "fun" in the dictionary and you might just find a picture of the colorful Griffith.
