School: Winfield Primary Sport: Soccer Her senior year turned out to be a dream, as emily Cole and Winfield head back into the state tournament. "We've just worked so hard, and i don't know if anyone has done what we've done throughout the season, throughout august and midnight practice. I don't even know how to descrive it." Cole is one of the generals leaders in goals, taking advantage of every opportunity. "You've just been blessed for everything. I'm just glad we've had a good season and i haven't been injured. Just glad for a good season." Winfield lost in penalty kicks a year ago in the state championship game, something that has weighed heavily on Cole's mind. "I was crushed last season, and i know all the seniors were crushed last season. I don't want to leave like that again." Cole carries a 3.75 GPA, taking her hard work into the classroom. "I've had my ups and downs but i've realized i have to keep my priorities straight. College isn't going to be easy so i realized i better buckle down in high school and get myself ready." The Generals have one goal in mind this weekend, that is to bring home the hardware from Beckley. "I want to leave with happy tears this time not balling my eyes out because we just lost our shot. I'm so excited like this is it i just want it so bad."
