Student: Michael Klug
School: Hurricane
Primary Sport: Wrestling

His four years at Hurricane High have gone by fast, but Michael Klug still has some business to take care of.
"Its seems crazy that we are at the end of the season already, but here we are. Really close to wrapping up the season and hoping for a good finish."

Klug is currently in the top ten rankings of the 170 pound weight class in triple a, but where he is in the standings doesn't mean much to him. "I see the ratings go up and go down, but I'm not going to let it get on my mind to much. Just going to do my best."

Micheal likes to challenge himself on the mat and in the classroom as well earning a 4.7 GPA. A great way to prepare for his future.
"Academics has always been important to me. I try to get all as. Take challenging classes like AP and try to do the best I can to prepare me for the future."

The Hurricane program was not on most people's minds before Klug and company came to town, but since his arrival, things have changed drastically. "Hurricane High School wasn't very well known, people didn't understand it. Its gone better and now we have a few experienced wrestlers and hopefully its going to continue to grow."

Before he departs, Klug still has a big goal in mind. To be one of the best in the state before its all said and done.
"My goal is to place at states this year, and hopefully we bring a lot of guys to states."
