The Road To Wheeling Round 2: Williamstown
2009 West Virginia High School Football

The defending Class A champion Yellowjackets won easily in round one with a convincing 62-6 win over the Valley Greyhounds. Now comes a much tougher assignment in Wheeling Central.

The Yellowjackets (9-2) and Maroon Knights (8-3) meet Friday (Nov. 20) night at Yellowjacket Field. Williamstown is the No. 4 seed and Central is the No. 5 seed.

Williamstown defeated Central, 14-13, last year in the semifinals before winning over Madonna in the title game at Wheeling Island Stadium. Central had defeated Williamstown three straight years in the championship before last season's semifinal win.
