The Road To Wheeling: Wahama
2009 West Virginia High School Football

Last season Wahama didn't reach the playoffs. And that didn't sit well with the Mason County school's football program.

The White Falcons have returned in 2009 and will open postseason play on Friday (November 13) night at Summersville's Memorial Stadium against the Fayetteville Pirates. Wahama (8-2) is the 10th-seeded team in Class A while Fayetteville (8-2) enters as the seventh-seeded squad.

The two schools scrimmaged back in August.
