The Road To Wheeling: South Charleston
2009 West Virginia High School Football

In 2008 the South Charleston Black Eagles put up a perfect 14-0 record and claimed the school's first Class AAA state championship since 1994 with a win over George Washington at Wheeling Island Stadium.

The Black Eagles of 2009 finished with a 9-1 mark and are the second-seeded team heading into the postseason. SC will open the playoffs against the 15th seed Lewis County ( 7-3) inside Charleston's UC Stadium Saturday (November 14) at 1:30 p.m.

We visit with SC head coach John Messinger on "The Road to Wheeling."
