The Road To Wheeling Round 3: Richwood
2009 West Virginia High School Football

Richwood High School has never been involved in a state championship football game. That could change on Saturday night as the 12-0 Lumberjacks travel to Man to meet the 11-1 Hillbillies in one of two Class A semifinal games on "The Road to Wheeling."

Richwood has beaten Pendleton County and Wirt County at home in the first two rounds.

The winner of Saturday night's game at George Queen Field will meet the survivor of Friday night's matchup between No. 5 Wheeling Central and No. 1 Weirton Madonna.

The Class A championship game is set for 7 p.m. Saturday, December 5, at Wheeling Island Stadium.
