The Road To Wheeling Round 2: Ravenswood
2009 West Virginia High School Football

The Ravenswood Red Devils captured an opening round home playoff win for the second straight year with a 24-14 victory over James Monroe last Saturday at Flinn Field.

Ravenswood (9-2) now goes to Wayne on Saturday (Nov. 21) afternoon to meet the 11-0 Pioneers at Pioneer Field.

Last year Ravenswood was stopped in the second round by eventual champion Grafton, so the Devils look to take the next step.

The winner will take on the PikeView-Frankfort winner in the semifinals. Ravenswood could actually earn a home game in the semifinals with a win over Wayne and a PikeView upset of Frankfort.
