The Road To Wheeling Super Six: Man
2009 West Virginia High School Football

The Man Hillbillies are back in a state championship game for the first time since 1984. That year Man lost to Grafton in the Class AA state championship game.

Man also lost AA titles in 1977 and 1980.

The Hillbillies will meet Madonna for the Class A crown at 7 p.m. Saturday, December 5, inside Wheeling Island Stadium.

Man, guided by Harvey Arms, finished 12-1 this season and as the No. 2 seed. The lone loss was against Class AA playoff team Chapmanville.
