Friday Night Football Extra
The Road To Wheeling: Capital
2009 West Virginia High School Football

It was a sluggish start at 0-2 for the Capital Cougars. Then, after winning five consecutive games, the Cougars dropped back-to-back losses. Clinging to a 5-4 record, Capital fought back from a 20-0 halftime deficit in its season finale with Huntington to knock off the Highlanders 28-20 and claim the number 11 slot of Class AAA.

Capital and rival George Washington (8-2) will meet for a second time this season on Friday night at UC Stadium in Charleston. Capital will seek revenge having lost to the Pats, 14-0, during the regular season.

We visit with Capital head coach Jack Woolwine on "The Road to Wheeling."
