While there no longer looks to be a Friends of Coal Bowl in football between WVU and Marshall, nothing appears to be stopping the Capital Classic in basketball.
The annual showdowns for both men and women will unfold Tuesday and Wednesday at the Charleston Civic Center Coliseum. This marks the second straight year the games will be played on different nights.
This season, the two games have been moved from mid-January to early December. The women's showdown is Tuesday while the me get together on Wednesday.
The WVU women's team had a workout Monday.
