The Hurricane Redskins will try to close out the season with an unbeaten record on Wednesday at Schoenbaum Stadium. Better yet, they will set out to claim a championship.

Jim Dagostine's dynamite program dominated Hedgesville on Tuesday in the Class AAA boys portion of the West Virginia State High School Soccer Tournament. Hurricane will play Parkersburg for the crown after the Big Reds defeated defending champ GW.

Meanwhile, in Class AA-A girls action Charleston Catholic lost to Bridgeport while Fairmont Senior advanced with a win over PikeView.
