WV High School Footballfrom Eyewitness News Online Midland, Scott And Tucker Lead The Way
Some teams on the West Virginia high school football scene will actually be starting the second half of their respective campaigns this weekend.
The bulk of week six of the season unfolds this Friday. Cabell Midland, Scott and Tucker County are the No. 1 teams of the three classes this week. Midland, off its win in the Battle of the Unbeatens with Huntington, remains at the top of Class AAA with a 5-0 mark. Scott is still the leader in Class AA. The Skyhawks are also 5-0. Tucker County's Mountain Lions become the new leader in the ranks of Class A. Tucker also owns a 5-0 report card. Meanwhile, Dana Holgorsen discusses getting set to meet Baylor while Doc Holliday is happy with his team's offensive play as Marshall prepares for Purdue.
