The high schools got started last weekend, as did the small colleges around the state.
Now, it's time for the two Division I programs to launch their respective 2010 seasons.
Marshall meets Ohio State on Thursday night in Columbus while WVU entertains Coastal Carolina on Saturday.
It's the games before "The Game" as WVU and Marshall meet the following Friday in the annual "Friends of Coal Bowl."
