He's not dreaming about a White Christmas, rather a West Virginia Open title.
Playing in virtually his backyard, Hurricane's Hop White owned the lead after the opening 18 holes of play in the West Virginia Open. This year's 54-hole event is being staged at Sleepy Hollow Golf Club in Hurricane.
Several, though, were lurking as the second round is about to be played. The cut will be made after Thursday before Friday's final round.
