The annual West Virginia Girls State High School Tournament unfolds March 10-13.
The Class AA field will include area teams Scott, Tolsia and Ravenswood.
Tolsia, the No. 3 seed, opens the tournament against No. 6 seed Oak Glen at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. Later in the day at 1 p.m. Scott, the No. 2 seed, goes against No. 7 seed Liberty Harrison. Ravenswood, the No. 5 seed, will meet No. 4 Westside at 9 p.m.
The other AA game Wednesday has top-seeded and unbeaten Summers County against No. 8 seed Frankfort. Summers County is gunning for a fourth straight title.
