The Wayne Pioneers are championship-bound once again.
Friday night inside Wheeling Island Stadium, the Pioneers will play the Bluefield Beaves for the Class AA state crown. Wayne will be looking for its second crown since 2006.
Bluefield is in a title game for the 15th time in school history.
The Class AA state championship is the first of three this weekend in Wheeling.
