IN SHAPE FOR HUNTING
OPENING DAY OF BUCK SEASON IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER.

AND IN THIS WEEK'S WEST VIRGINIA WILDLIFE,

EYEWITNESS NEWS ANCHOR PATRICK MCMURTRY HAS SOME TIPS TO GET IN SHAPE BEFORE YOU HIT THE WOODS.

It happens every year, hunters have heart attacks out in the woods, and, sometimes, they don't make it. That's why Shawn says its so important to make sure you know the warning signs of a heart attack before you go hunting, especially if you're hunting alone.

14:17"A lot of people that have heart attacks have early warning symptoms, these are really important if they can identify them early, we can treat their symptoms before it becomes a major problem. in about 50 percent of the heart attacks we see, we believe we could have prevented them."

Most of us know about some of the symptoms...chest pains, pain in the arm, but Shawn says there are other things you definitely should recognize before you put yourself at risk.

14:45There are kind of a group of things, not any one symptom. We talk about shortness of breath, fatigue and pain in the jaw, weakness in the jaw, naseau, all of these are atypical to people, general fatigue, if you put these together, they are warning signs we want people to recognize."

And if you recognize them early, and get treatment, chances are way better you'll be around to hunt opening day for years to come. Fow WVWL PM WEN

MOST TALKED ABOUT NAME
THE MOST TALKED ABOUT PERSON ON THE INTERNET IS THE POPE!

AN ANNUAL SURVEY RANKED POPE FRANCIS AS ONE OF THE TOP TALKERS ONLINE AROUND THE WORLD.

HE EVEN BEAT OUT THE NEWEST HEIR TO THE BRITISH THRONE..

"most talked-about person on the internet."

    It's a serious title.

When you consider what name is invoked the most on blogs, internet news sites, social media...

KATE MIDDLETON AND PRINCE GEORGE...MAYBE BEYONCE OR JUSTIN BIEBER COME TO MIND.

BUT FAR SURPASSING ALL THESE FOLKS WAS POPE FRANCIS:

THE LEADER OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH...

THE LARGEST DENOMINATION OF THE WORLD'S LARGEST RELIGION.

THE SURVEY CAME FROM THE GLOBAL LANGUAGE MONITOR, A TEXAS COMPANY THAT TRACKS WHAT PEOPLE ARE TALKING ABOUT ON THE INTERNET.

OTHER NAMES AND PHRASES THAT CAME UP INCLUDED "OBAMACARE," "THE NATIONAL SECURITY AGENCY," AND "EDWARD SNOWDEN."

BUT POPE FRANCIS HAS GOTTEN A LOT OF ATTENTION IN ALL FORMS OF MEDIA THIS YEAR.

HE'S MADE HEADLINES AND BLOGS AND TWEETS FOR INSPIRATIONAL ACTS.

AND HE'S BEEN CRITICIZED FOR CONTROVERSIAL COMMENTS ON SENSITIVE TOPICS.

IN POPE FRANCIS, PEOPLE SEE SOMEONE WHO'S REDEFINED, OR EXEMPLIFIED, OR DEFIED WHAT THEY THINK A POPE SHOULD BE.

AND THAT'S PROMPTED THEM TO SHARE THEIR VIEWS ON THE POPE, MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE.

    CARL AZUZ, CNN.

HEALTHCARE PROBLEMS
    IN NATIONAL NEWS....

MILLIONS OF FRUSTRATED AMERICANS HAVE RECEIVED CANCELLATION LETTERS FROM THEIR INSURANCE COMPANIES....THEIR HEALTH CARE PLANS HAVE BEEN DROPPED BECAUSE OF NEW STANDARDS UNDER OBAMACARE. TODAY PRESIDENT OBAMA IS EXPECTED TO ANNOUNCE THAT THEY CAN KEEP THEIR PLANS FOR ONE YEAR, ACCORDING TO CAPITOL HILL SOURCES. Pelosi "We must have a fix and we will." REPUBLICANS HAVE BEEN HAMMERING THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION FOR THE BOTCHED ROLLOUT OF HEALTHCARE.GOV AND FOR THE INSURANCE CANCELLATIONS. Boehner "This is not about politics. These are about real people in our districts that are being harmed by Obamacare." BUT NOW THE PRESIDENT IS ALSO FACING A BREWING REVOLT FROM HIS OWN PARTY. MORE AND MORE DEMOCRATS HAVE COME FORWARD TO SAY THE PRESIDENT NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING TO HELP THE MILLIONS OF FRUSTRATED AMERICANS GETTING THESE CANCELLATION LETTERS. ALL OF THIS COMES AS THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION STRUGGLES WITH THE DISMAL OCTOBER HEALTH CARE ENROLLMENT NUMBERS. Carney "We fully expect that the numbers will be even lower than anticipated bc of the significant challenges caused by the website." AND THEY WERE RIGHT. IN OCTOBER, ONLY 106-THOUSAND PEOPLE SELECTED A PLAN - AND ONLY 27-THOUSAND SIGNED UP THROUGH THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT'S WEB SITE. THAT'S FAR SHORT OF THE HALF A MILLION THE ADMINISTRATION HAD HOPED FOR IN THE FIRST MONTHAND THE 7 MILLION BY THE MARCH DEADLINE. A LONG LINE OF ADMINISTRATION OFFICIALS INSISTS - WORK IS BEING DONE AROUND THE CLOCK TO GET THE WEB SITE FIXED. HENRY CHAO: Deputy Chief Information Officer and Deputy Director, Centers for Medicare And Medicaid Services' Office Of Information Services "Users can now successfully create an account, continue through the full application and enrollment processes." O/C CLOSE: THE ADMINISTRATION IS URGING PEOPLE WHO HAD PROBLEMS AT HEALTHCARE.GOV TO GIVE IT ANOTHER TRY. THEY SAY THE SITE CAN NOW HANDLE A HIGHER VOLUME OF USERS. KT ABC NEWS WASHINGTON.

SMART HOLIDAY SHOPPING
THE HOLIDAY SHOPPING SEASON BEGINS IN TWO WEEKS.

AND FOR SOME, THE SPIRIT OF THE SEASON MAY LEAD TO OVERSPENDING AND ADD UP TO A LESS-THAN-HAPPY NEW YEAR.

HERE ARE SOME TIPS FOR SMARTER HOLIDAY SPENDING.

MANY AMERICANS WON'T START THE HOLIDAY SEASON WITH A CLEAN FINANCIAL SLATE. IF CREDIT CARD DEBT IS ALREADY MOUNTING, LEAVE THE PLASTIC ALONE.

"Maybe you can't do what you really want to do during the holidays in terms of everything you want to give your kids or your friends, but if you stick with cash your situation at least won't get any worse."

STICKING TO CASH ON HAND REQUIRES A MORE DISCIPLINED APPROACH - AND A BUDGET. IN ADDITION TO GIFTING FAMILY AND FRIENDS, FACTOR IN OTHERS THAT ARE OFTEN OVERLOOKED, LIKE TIPS FOR BABYSITTERS AND HAIRDRESSERS.

CREDIT CARD EXPERT BEVERLY HARZOG URGES SHOPPERS TO BE HONEST ABOUT THAT BUDGET -- AND DON'T RELY ON POTENTIAL MONEY LIKE A HOLIDAY BONUS THAT MAY NOT MATERIALIZE.

"Stick with what you know you have in your accounts at the moment, your current cash flow, and plan your budget around that. That way you won't have any unpleasant surprises. The last thing you want is to be in the debt when 2014 rolls around."

IF A LARGE PURCHASE IS GOING ON A CREDIT CARD, MAKE A SMART CHOICE. USE A REWARDS CARD THAT WILL EARN POINTS, MILES OR CASH BACK.

AND RESIST BEING TEMPTED BY THOSE DEALS THAT PROMISE INSTANT SAVINGS BY OPENING A STORE CREDIT CARD. THEY TEND TO HAVE HIGHER INTEREST RATES, MEANING YOU MAY STILL BE PAYING FOR THIS YEAR'S GIFTS, NEXT YEAR.

FOR CONSUMER WATCH, I'M KARIN CAIFA.

AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE HUSTLE AND BUSTLE... WE HAVE SOME KEY DATES THAT WILL HELP YOU AVOID THE BIG CROWDS.

SHOPPER TRACK FOUND THAT SHOPPING EARLY AND MOSTLY MID WEEK ARE THE BEST TIMES TO SHOP.. AND THE LEAST BUSIEST DAYS .. DECEMBER 2nd THROUGH THE 4th.. ALONG WITH THE 9th AND 11th.

NOW IF YOU HIT UP THE STORES ON THOSE DAYS.. JUST REMEMBER.. THERE MAY NOT BE DOORBUSTER DEALS LIKE ON BLACK FRIDAY, BUT THERE SHOULD STILL BE SALES.

    NETFLIX IS GETTING A FACELIFT.

THE COMPANY SAYS ITS ROLLING OUT A MORE VISUALLY RICH DESIGN FOR ITS VIDEO STREAMING USERS.

CLICKING A SHOW OR MOVIE WILL GIVE A FULL-PAGE DESCRIPTION WITH IMAGES.

THE NEW USER INTERFACE IS AVAILABLE ACROSS MULTIPLE DEVICES AND CONSOLES.

FIRST THERE WAS GOOGLE GLASS FOR YOUR EYES... AND NOW THE TECH GIANT IS CONSIDERING OFFERING SOMETHING FOR YOUR THROAT!

IT HAS APPLIED FOR A PATENT ON AN "ELECTRONIC SKIN TATTOO."

THIS IS A DRAWING INCLUDED IN THE 10-PAGE DOCUMENT.

THE "TATTOO" WOULD COMMUNICATE WITH SMARTPHONES, GAMING DEVICES, TABLETS AND WEARABLE TECHNOLOGY LIKE GOOGLE GLASS THROUGH A BLUETOOTH-STYLE CONNECTION.

THE TATTOO -- WHICH STICKS TO YOUR THROAT BY AN ADHESIVE OR CAN BE PLACED ON A COLLAR OR BAND -- COULD EVEN BE USED AS A LIE DETECTOR.
